In this podcast, discover the untold story of Seeqle's beginnings, the journey of its CEO, Jean Eudes Yahouedeou, as well as his views on AI and Recruiting.
In a constantly changing work environment, businesses are facing new challenges when it comes to recruiting. The emergence of innovative sourcing solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers answers to these challenges. Founded in 2019, Seeqle, a French start-up, has quickly become a key player in this field, with technology that is transforming traditional recruitment methods.
The origin of Seeqle: from concept to implementation
It was in 2018 that Jean-Eudes came up with the idea of Seeqle. Recognizing the limitations of his first project dedicated to the valorization of skills, he decided to tackle the problem of candidate acquisition. His ambition? Allow businesses to proactively target the profiles they are looking for rather than passively waiting for applications.
As early as 2019, he and his founding team began an intensive research and development phase, which included a partnership with Facebook. The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 reinforces their determination, pushing them to accelerate the development of their technology and to open it up to schools.
A promising entrepreneurial journey
Jean-Eudes Yahouedeou, co-founder of Seeqle, comes from a family of Beninese entrepreneurs. As soon as he studied business school, he started entrepreneurship in 2014 with a first initiative in the employment sector: the multimedia resume.
“Since childhood, I was in my parents' first store helping them sell products, advise them and later develop the brand, etc. The sense of business developed with partners, service providers, etc.”
Seeqle: an AI at the service of recruitment
Launched on the market in 2021, Seeqle's solution is a real breakthrough in the field of recruitment. With a database listing more than 4,500 jobs, Seeqle's AI makes it possible to identify with great precision the ideal profile for each position to be filled.
“Today, Seeqle is the solution that makes it possible to automate the search for candidates everywhere on the Internet, regardless of the profiles sought.”
The tool then targets these profiles on various online channels (social networks, websites, mobile applications, etc.) using personalized advertising. The objective? Attract the best candidates to the offers that suit them.
The benefits for businesses
This innovative approach allows the startup to significantly increase the rate of qualified applications. While businesses used to receive 10% of relevant applications, they now get nearly 50%, which means significant savings in time and resources in the recruitment process.
This optimization of candidate sourcing also allows companies to focus their efforts on the most important steps, such as interviews and the integration of new employees. A real opportunity to strengthen the quality of relationships with candidates and the brand image.
A solution adapted to all sectors and profiles
Although the solution was originally designed for businesses, it quickly expanded to other areas, including training. Educational institutions can now use this technology to attract the best students based on their education.
A rapid expansion
After an initial fundraising in 2020, Seeqle achieved profitability in 2022.
With a presence in eight countries in Europe and North America, Seeqle counts among its customers renowned players from various sectors: Bank, upbringing, restoring, health, and many more.
Seeqle is strengthening its teams, in particular by recruiting commercial and technical profiles, in order to consolidate its leading position in a booming market.
